Digital Concordances It is planned to publish digital concordances of the set of volumes of the Fourteenth-Century Bible once all the volumes of the Bible have been published; digital concordances of other parts of the project will also be published. Word Indices 3. Bíblia del segle XIV: Èxode. Levític These six indices were produced after the errata discovered up until Sep 6, 2004 were introduced into the text. 6. Bíblia del segle XIV: Primer i segon llibres dels Reis 38. Lo Nou Testament, traducció de Josep Melcior Prat The above indices contain all words ordered alphabetically, with a reference to the chapter and verse where each word appears in the text. Even often-repeated words such as the conjunction e or i are included, though text in brackets (text that has been conjecturally added by the editors) has been left out. In these indices, vocalic elisions are shown conserving the apostrophe and the middle dot; thus the form d’Israell is indexed under d’ and Israell, and the form no·ls under no and ·ls. It must be kept in mind that the forms from the medieval manuscripts dequell, dello, etc. are separated in the transcription according to modern Catalan usage (d’equell, d’ellò, etc. and not de·quell, de·llò, etc.), in spite of the fact that the forms equell, ello, etc. never appear in the published manuscripts with an initial e, except when joined with the preposition de (or de conjunction e). These indices, if printed on paper in two columns, would take up as many or more pages than the texts themselves, and this is why they are only being published digitally. They can be downloaded from this web page. The indices are prepared by Pere Casanellas i Bassols. In the case of La Bíblia del segle XIV (‘Fourteenth-Century Bible’), separate indices are being produced for each manuscript and for each biblical book. It is planned to publish a unique index for each of the manuscripts (one which will include, in a single list, the words from all the biblical books each of the manuscripts contains). |
